Bring your own tallit & tefillin

Judaica and minyan access are limited outside the Chabad house.

Korea has a very small Jewish community, essentially centered on the Seoul Chabad house. Do not assume you can borrow a tallit, tefillin or siddur, or find a minyan elsewhere — bring your own religious items and pack a travel siddur. If your itinerary leaves Seoul (Busan, Gyeongju, Jeju), plan any davening around the days you're in the city and coordinate with Chabad in advance for Shabbat or holidays. A small supply of havdalah items or yahrzeit candles is worth bringing too.
