Bukchon is a hillside neighborhood of preserved hanok (traditional Korean houses), tucked between Gyeongbokgung and Changdeokgung. Its lanes are beautiful for a walk and photos. Remember it is a real residential area — keep your voice down and don't enter private homes; signs mark quiet hours.
