Korea's second city, Busan, is a relaxed coastal escape: Haeundae Beach, the colorful hillside Gamcheon Culture Village, Jagalchi fish market and seaside temples like Haedong Yonggungsa. It's about 2h17m from Seoul by KTX (see Transit). A great two- or three-day add-on to a Seoul trip.
