Cherry blossoms & autumn colors

Korea's two most beautiful — and busiest — seasons.

Cherry blossoms sweep the country from late March in the south to mid-April in Seoul — the bloom lasts only about a week, so timing is partly luck. Autumn foliage peaks from late October to mid-November. Both are gorgeous and very popular, so expect crowds and book accommodation early. Exact dates shift each year with the weather — check a current bloom / foliage forecast before you fix travel dates.
