Jeju Island

Jeju is Korea's volcanic holiday island — beaches, lava tubes, the Hallasan volcano and the sunrise peak Seongsan Ilchulbong. Reach it by a short (~1h) domestic flight from Seoul, or by ferry. It's more spread out than the cities, so renting a car or planning bus routes helps. Good for nature and a slower pace.
