KTX high-speed trains connect Seoul with Busan, Daegu, Gyeongju and other cities — Seoul to Busan takes about 2 hours 17 minutes, standard class around ₩59,800 one way, with frequent departures through the day. Book on the KORAIL+ app or at the station (SRT merged into KTX in 2026, so it is all one booking now); reserve ahead on weekends and holidays. Stations are well signed in English. Slower ITX / Mugunghwa trains are cheaper. Fares vary by date and time — confirm when booking.
