Tourist passes worth knowing

Beyond T-money, a few passes target foreign tourists. The Korail Pass (KR Pass) gives foreign passport holders unlimited KTX and train rides for a set number of days — worthwhile for train-heavy routes like Seoul–Busan–Gyeongju. The Discover Seoul Pass bundles many Seoul attractions with some transit credit. City day-passes also exist (such as Seoul's Climate Card). None is essential — most travelers do fine with T-money plus individual KTX tickets — but if you'll ride several intercity trains, compare the Korail Pass. Check current prices and eligibility on the official sites before you buy.
