부산

Busan

Korea's coastal second city — beaches, fresh seafood, colorful hillside neighborhoods and a relaxed, open feel. A great two- or three-day trip from Seoul.

Getting there & around

From Seoul — KTX — Depart Seoul Station (subway lines 1, 4) → arrive Busan Station. About 2h40m, standard ~₩59,800.
From Seoul — express bus — Depart Seoul Express Bus Terminal (Express Bus Terminal station, lines 3, 7, 9) → arrive Busan's Nopo-dong terminal (Busan subway line 1). About 4h, ~₩35,000 (premium ~₩52,000).
From Incheon Airport — Direct airport limousine buses run to Busan (~5h), or take the AREX to Seoul Station (~1h) and the KTX from there.
Getting around — Busan has its own subway and buses (T-money works); use Kakao T for taxis. Sights are spread along the coast.
City Tour Bus — A hop-on, hop-off double-decker loops the main sights (Haeundae, Gamcheon and more) — handy if you'd rather not plan bus routes.
